At Astral & Root, your satisfaction matters to us. We stand behind every product we sell, which is why we offer a straightforward 30-day return policy on all items — no exceptions, no final sale products, and no restocking fees. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to make it right.
Our promise: Every product in our store is eligible for return within 30 days of delivery. We never charge restocking fees, and we have no final sale items. Your trust is more important than any transaction.
Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
- 30-day window: Your return request must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date. The delivery date is the date shown in your shipping confirmation or tracking information.
- Product condition: Products should be in their original packaging whenever possible. Unopened, sealed products are preferred, but we understand that you may need to try a supplement to evaluate it. Opened products with the majority of contents remaining are also eligible for return.
- Proof of purchase: You must have a valid order number, confirmation email, or receipt from Astral & Root.
All products in our store are eligible for return — we do not designate any items as "final sale."
How to Initiate a Return
Starting a return is simple. Follow these steps:
- Contact us by emailing hello@astralandroot.com with your order number and reason for return. We'll respond within 1–2 business days.
- Receive your return authorization — we'll provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the return shipping address.
- Pack your item securely in its original packaging if possible. Write your RMA number on the outside of the package.
- Ship the package to the return address provided. We recommend using a tracked shipping method so you can confirm delivery.
- Refund is processed once we receive and inspect your return, typically within 5–7 business days of receipt.
Important: Please do not ship returns without first receiving a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns sent without an RMA may experience processing delays.
Return Shipping
For standard returns (change of mind, dissatisfaction, or other non-defective reasons), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a shipping method that provides tracking and delivery confirmation for your protection.
Exception: If you received a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, Astral & Root will cover the cost of return shipping. See the "Damaged or Defective Products" section below for details.
Original shipping charges paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, defective product, etc.).
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email regarding the status of your refund.
Approved Returns
If your return is approved, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method. There is no restocking fee — ever. You will receive the full product purchase price back.
Processing Time
- Inspection and approval: 2–3 business days after we receive your return.
- Refund issued: Within 1–2 business days of approval.
- Refund appears in your account: Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received a refund within the timeframes above, please check your bank account or credit card statement again, then contact your bank or credit card company — it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you've done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at hello@astralandroot.com and we'll investigate promptly.
Exchanges
We are happy to exchange your purchase for a different product in our collection. To request an exchange:
- Email us at hello@astralandroot.com with your order number and the product you'd like instead.
- We'll provide return instructions and reserve your replacement product.
- Once we receive your return, we'll ship the replacement at no additional shipping cost to you.
If the replacement product is a different price, we'll either refund the difference or charge the balance to your original payment method before shipping.
Exchanges are subject to product availability. If your requested product is out of stock, we'll offer you a full refund or the option to wait for the next restock.
Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a product that is damaged during shipping, defective, or not what you ordered, we sincerely apologize. We will make it right — at our expense.
- Contact us immediately at hello@astralandroot.com with your order number and photos of the damaged or defective product.
- We'll cover return shipping — we will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse your return shipping cost.
- Your choice: We'll send a replacement product at no charge, or issue a full refund including any original shipping costs.
Please report damaged or defective products within 7 days of delivery so we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Include photos whenever possible — this helps us improve our packaging and quality control.
Exceptions
We strive to keep our return policy as simple and generous as possible. There are no final sale items in our store — every product is returnable within the 30-day window.
The only situations in which a return may not be accepted:
- The return request is made more than 30 days after the delivery date.
- The product was not purchased from Astral & Root (e.g., purchased from an unauthorized reseller).
- The return is shipped without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and cannot be matched to a valid order.
